Daily dose of art

day 370. I started with digitalizing the comission I am currently working on. Today I layed the groundwork. There is still alot of stuff missing, like highlights and shadows, but what I had at the end of the session was more than good enough for todays board. I also took the time to make a cofee stain look paper texture and it came out great. So in the future I can just grab it when I need it without having to redo it.

day 369. Worked on my background skillz abit. Its basicalley just art I did before very zoomed in. And for the foreground I just used my most recent alphabet. I tried maximum pop in the green one! 

day 368. After finishing my newest project today, I was really excited to use it for todays board. And as always the first one is without much effects. I always pay attention, but this time I was surprised how far I could zoom in and still have a good quality. Hope you enjoy. 

Just finished project 09 'DINO'. I really paid attention to details I had so much different colours and variations. Some even with 3d blocks. But I am happy I ended up here. I probably spent 1/3 of the time testing and trying around. It wouldve been faster if I just wouldve done it like last time, but I wouldve not improved and learned as much as I did now. 

Now I can't wait for todays board. 😁

I did a photobook. Mainly just did it for fun and for myself. I am super happy with the quality. The paper is good and the print crystal clear. I paid 16€ for 50 pages. shipping included.  I find that a decent price.

day 367. I made this 'heal the world' fon last week and today I made a board with it. Nothing special.

day 366. I have made the groundwork for my newest style practice alphabet. That means I did the basic like digitalize it, added highlights, shadows and dropshadow. Did a sketchy fill in with the drawpad andtried out a fill in. Its very hard to read tho, so I will work on that next time, but it makes for a great new background, especially when its zoomed in all the way. In general I am pretty happy with the alphabet. It is not the most advanced one, but I find the letters fit pretty well to each other. 

It's true and even if you don't have a plan yet, just starting is always the most important step. 

This design is one of my newest favourites. I tried make some math doodles on the sides. 

day 365. I am sorry if you expected something huge today. I realised it too late that today is the day. It has been a wonderful year. Thanks to everyone who has been a part of it. Without your constant support and cheers I wouldve failed the challenge already a couple times. THANK YOU.

Does not seem like the worst superpower to have 😅 

day 364. I like the RB I did yesterday so much, that I had to do some more variations with it. Also am close to finish a new alphabet. It's gonna be dope!

day 363. I finished my part for the collaboration with my man beelzebub. He will add a calligraphy type circle around it. I cant wait! So for todays board I took the photo I did at work and digitalized it. Added light and shadows. And helmius says hello today aswell.

day 362. Today I took a sketch herdmember Petersaur sent me. It's his dope LOSER sketch. I love how he just suggest the letter. He really knows what lines count! Dope one. I for myself took the black lines, added highlights, shadows and a gradient to really make it pop. I added one of my backgroundtextures that I had ready to use. It shows some of my graffiti. And pay attention to the 'saur' behind 'loser'. I nailed that one.  So now I need a new one. Who is next? Show me your outlined sketches!

day 361. Something quick today. I tried to really make it POP. and the font I did last night, after I read it on a tshirt.

Just added a bunch of stuff to the store. I find these designs amazing. They fit especially well to the phone cases.

day 360. I practiced some lettering. Quick and easy today.  But this font I really like. I might make more out of it. Overall today is a good day for lettering. Normally I just wanted to do only this one for today, but I liked the background so much, that I took some favourite fonts I did and added my Rhinosaur-morph.

I thought some of you might enjoy this little collection of Style-practices I did. I hate the first one, because I have not erased any lines.. I should've 😅 and number 2 got lost on the way to australia as part of a giveaway. ☹️ Number 3 I just gave to someone who really like my art und Number 4 I still have to do the finishing touches.

day 359. I finally found the inspiration to work on my next bigger project. It's 'DINO' and project number 09. 🤩I managed to put another 4 hours into it. The boards themselves took like 1 hour. The colours are not final and the background is still missing, but it comes along a great way.✍️ I am excited, because I only have to complete it once and can create countles variations, shirt designs ans skateboards. You know I always say that presenting my art is almost more fun than doing it, so I can't wait!

I finally found a mockup style I like. I will post all shirt designs from now on over at @rhinosaur.shop It's still alot of work but we are getting there. The models I get from my vexels account.

 day 358. Made a board out of the shirt design I did recently.The Green graffiti is my 'RHINO' project and the white sketch in the back says 'DINOTHERHINOSAUR' Think it took 30 minutes or so. Now I can spend the rest of the evening doing 3 of the 4 million things I still have on the list. 😅 

Here the finished shirt design. It turned out  way better than I ever imagined.

I made an account 2 days ago. I want to produce alot of shirt designs and having so much illustrations ready to go Is very dope. But I dont want to mix it too much with my own artwork.

I will always say when I used a premade grafic, so if I dont say anything you can be sure that I made all of it.

day 354. Today I redid day 60. Back then I remeber how proud I was of the background.🙃 I have someone want to buy this board. And on day 60 I have not saved the rectangular designs.🤫 I tried to stay close to the original. Just the "boarder-covers" on the left and right are better quality. The shadow better = everything better. Also I think none of you have seen this yet so I hope you enjoy day 354 and I see you for tomorrows day 355.

day 353. Sometimes it's almost too easy. I made a pink rhino board today. A friend of mine asked me if I could do something pink, because she wants to get an iphone case from me. So here it is. :) I will change it sklightly to fit on the case, but it was worth saving all the raw files, so I can just pull them out when needed. Have a great evening youbeautiful people.

Any suggestions? Not sure about whats the best colour combo for this.

I messed up the spacing. I wouldve liked the letters to be a bit further apart, but I am super happy with the letters themselves.

And it basicalley means even if you did not reach the goal you set to yourself, if you did your truly best, there is no need to be mad about it, since it won't change the outcome. Being mad only makes you feel bad and that helps no one. 🤗💚

day 351. I took my DINONEUNEINS graffiti for todays board. I added my tag in the middle with a bit of a shine and I made these 'pieces of glas' I blurred it out to make it look like milky glass. Not really satisfied how that tirned out, bbut the board itself came out pretty good.

day 350. I practiced light and shadow today.  

day 349. made this 'herdmember' font today as part of a new shirt design I am working on.

With some lines here and there I tried to make it look like the font is standig upright on sandy/dirty. Goal was to use as less lines as possible. Hope you enjoy!

Today I spent like 4 hours trying to make the best advertising pictures I can. I think I used too much text, but there is just so much you should know. :D Overall it was a ton of fun and I learned alot. But sometimes I wish I would've studied graphic design. Now I am tired and I still have to do the daily board. It will be something quick because I can't use anything really from the last 4 hours. So see you in a bit. :) 

day 348. Here is a teaser of my newest project I am working on for a while now. Didn't really felt inspired today so I wanted to do a quick one. Turns out I really like the colours of all 3! I started mixing colours more here and there and it really adds to the overall tone. It just looks better I wonder why.. Maybe because there is no straight plain colour in real life? I mean through ambient shadows and the way lightrays work, you have almost always alot of very suddle mixes in colour. Except the red one this is just straight red/grey.

day 347. Today I made a board from my 'Shroomsaur' drawing. It is still work in progress and should improve over the days.

I was outside today and look what I observed. It's a shroomsaur. :D

day 346. Today I digitalized a quick alphabet sketch. It's got a million proportion issues and is not fleshed out at all. Still it makes a good board. 

new design in the makings. Its almost done just need to tweak the shadow slightly for the lighter coloured shirts. 

'Monkey mind' is like a bhuddism therm and it means the mind when he is in a restless state and constantly keeps himself busy and this is exhausting. So you need to give job to monkey mind by being mindful on your breath. be aware of the breath. 

And while spacing the letters, I noticed that there is the word MONK in Monkey...  and then you get this 'ey mind' in the last line and it could be that you are shouting at your monkey mind to be aware and mindful.  I love such twisted word meanings. 

And yeah the banana is 100% made by me. 

And I know what tomorrows board will look like I guess.  great sunday to you. It's 7:30 am and now I will have some icecream and go to bed.

day 344. Time for the daily board(s). I want to advance my current 'DINO' project this weekend, so here is a quick one today. Stay tuned, the current one could be my best one yet. I just leave it until I feel inspired to finish the letters and do a background.

I plan on adding more of my real good artworks to the poster collection. One thing for sure I neead all of them at least once. 😅

IMPORTANT: Since I want to make my Art availabe to everyone, but also give people who have the money the chance to support me if they want, I came up with this way to handle the pricing. So with the smallest Poster I make almost no profit, but therefore you can even afford it, even if you are still a Teenager. The biggest Poster however is for someone who wants to tip me an extra buck and the profit I do with this one is quite substantial and will help me to get more independant and that will ultimately result in better quality and cheaper prices for you guys. But I am truly thankful for no matter what option you pick. At the end its most important for me that you enjoy my art and it makes you happy everytime you look at it.

It's my "what the horn" graffiti and I placed it at work. (Expensive/good quality supermarket😅 I was joking to my supervisor about hanging it there and he just said: "Ok then do it." 🤩 

Uhmm thanks. Over summer we literally have a million customers. And most of them are very wealthy and known over whole Germany.  So that's some dope exposure right there. 😁

Now I just have to place a puzzle right between all the cheese somehow. 😎

day 342. The last part of the dope collaboration with my man @emsa_graffiti . After he finished this awesome 'NEUNER' sketch, I turned them into boards. One is black and white, on the second I kept his original colours and on the third I zoomed in on that awesome E and changed some colour sliders.

day 341. Working on some shirt designs. I found this awesome site where you can do full art clothings! So I am messing around with my Alphabet 'Style practice 2#' since for some reason you guys really seem to like it. So yeah I created the daily boards from the results of that 3 hour session. The boards themselves where only like 10 minutes. I love the simple and plain background. It really puts the art in focus. So I learned something about negative space.

day 340. Alright these where really fun to make. Since monday I am working on this new Photo edit of an Eagle. Adlus joined the team today. So he is finished but since the sides are cut off originally I will make a nice graffiti for it that comes along with it.

So now there is only the Font left to do. So for todays boards I took the finished Eagle-edit and combined it with an comission I did once for Chris. 🤗💚 So the graffiti says 'CHRIS' and on the last board it's 'SAUR'.

day 339. These boards are quicker today. 🤗💚 The green one says DINO and its one of my oldest digital pieces. And the metal part in the background is one of my sketches 'NEUNEINS'.

Picture number 2 is the story back from 2020 when this got created.

day 338. Working on my shirt designs and while I was at it, created the daily boards from them. 

just finished the first shirt design. Very limited space to work with but I will make it work. The problemsolving part is very fun.😁

and the fill in the RHNSR is just one of my daily boards. I designed it with the idea in mind that I can reuse them in the most efficient way possible 🤔😎 so there is the possibility for a lot of special editions and limited runs.🤩 I am super excited. I can give sketches and stickers or puzzles to the very special editions.

day 331. Today a friend came over and we talked about the tshirt thing you guys are so hyped about. I even designed a shirt with his suggestions. I reimagined it for todays board and it came out pretty dope.
